Trade live crypto markets with no account and no wallet

The first mile of Web3, without the account, the wallet or the tuition. Live market data, honest fills, simulated capital — and nothing about you stored anywhere but your own device.

Practice on live markets, before anything is at risk

This is the entry point: real, live market prices with simulated capital. Nothing is deposited and nothing can be lost, so it is the only place where the mechanics of execution — sizing, stops, fees, impact — can be learned at full speed without paying tuition to the market.

What makes a practice environment honest

RequirementWhy it decides whether your results mean anything
Live pricesPractising on stale data teaches nothing about spread, depth or how fast a level breaks.
Real feesFees are most of the cost of an active strategy. A zero-fee environment inverts the result of anything short-horizon.
Price impactFilling at the mid price hides the single reason strategies stop working at size.
A journalWithout a record of entry, stop, target and reason, fifty trades produce a feeling instead of a dataset.
No real money anywhereNot "a small amount to start" — none. The point is that mistakes cost only attention.

Why there is no account and no wallet

Most on-ramps are a marketing funnel: the practice balance sits next to a deposit button and the signup exists to move you onto the live product. DexLadder holds nothing about you — no email, no password, no wallet connection, no server-side account — because the balance, the fills and the journal are computed and stored on your own device. Clear your browser storage and the practice account is gone. That is the honest trade for keeping nothing.

A first fortnight that actually teaches something

  1. Pick one deep market and stay there — rotating assets daily means never learning how any of them behaves.
  2. Write the rules before the first trade: setup, invalidation, risk per trade, exit.
  3. Size from the stop with the position size calculator, never from the balance.
  4. Log every trade and every skip, with one line on why.
  5. Review in batches of twenty and change one rule at a time.

The long version is in how to practise without an account, and the difference between this and historical testing is in backtesting vs live practice. When the mechanics are automatic, the rest of the on-chain desk is waiting: AMM pools, perpetuals, bots and your own contracts.

Questions people actually ask

Is crypto paper trading free?

DexLadder is free and requires no account. There is no paid tier, no deposit and no card.

Can I paper trade crypto without signing up?

Yes. Open the app and trade — the balance and history live in your browser, not on a server.

Does paper trading use real prices?

It should. DexLadder uses live market feeds and applies fees, spread and price impact to fills, so the results transfer to live trading instead of flattering you.

How long should I paper trade before trading real money?

Long enough for a measurable record — commonly fifty to a hundred journalled trades across different conditions — then start live at a size where a loss is irrelevant.
