Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no login and no password. Open the app and it works.

Is any of the money real?

No. Every balance, order and position is simulated against real, live prices. The app cannot deposit, withdraw, buy or sell anything real, and it never asks for a wallet or a private key.

Where is my progress stored?

On your device only. Nothing is uploaded. See the privacy policy.

How do I reset my portfolio?

More → Account → reset. Paper funds refill; the reset is free and unlimited.

How do I move my progress to a new phone?

More → Exports → save a backup file, then restore that file on the new device. The file is yours; it passes through no server of ours.

The prices or news say the feed did not answer.

The app reads public data sources directly and will not invent a number to fill a gap. Check your connection and pull to refresh; if a particular newsroom or data provider is down, the rest of the app carries on and that panel says so honestly.

Why does the app need photo access?

Only to save a completion certificate or share card to your library when you tap save. It never reads your photos.

Is DexLadder financial advice?

No. It is a practice ground and a curriculum. See the terms of use.
